Help early morning ALARM call!

This morning my 146 Ti woke me, my missis and the rest of our street up at 6am with a constant blarring of its horn!
I rushed out in only a pair of jeans and unlocked/locked it, which silenced it for about 5 seconds! (my neighbours really love me, I can tell by the way they glare at me now!)
In the end I disconnected the battery and did what every sane person would do....went back to bed!
When I got up again, I tried the switch in the boot to turn the alarm off, but on reconnecting the battery, the horn still sounded. (sorry again, old lady over the road!)
After having a look under the bonnet, in the horn area I noticed a metal plate/block type thing, which has corroded off the body near the horn, it has a red, black and white wire attached, but I'm not sure if they are contributing to the problem. Any ideas what they do? do they need to be earthed out, By looking, it looks as though one or two are insulated on the spade connectors attached to the plate bit thats rusted off.

Any help much appriciated

Re: early morning ALARM call!

The alarm is not under the bonnet at all, The siren is part of the unit you deactivated in the boot. Try unplugging the connector if it is accessable.

Also, the LED ontop of the steering column cowling will flash with a code. Compare it to the owners manual and it should tell you what set it off.
