I know people must be bored with my raving about 'Sticky Boots' but I have just fitted another, and I am well pleased yet again.
Interestingly enough, the adhesive is produced in France. So what you may think. Well sometime ago I applied for a job constructing inflatable seagoing dinghy's, and was given a tour of the works. Loads of the construction involved a glue that welded the component parts together. Showed me one that had been used world wide, and dragged over rough terrain. The odd repairable puncture, but the main glued seams still intact!
: Anyway, I reckon the same method is deployed with these split boots, and similar materials used.
Saves a lot of hassle, leaving the suspension in place, and are only about 9-12 quid to buy. I rate them. The job needs to be done with patience, and absolute cleanliness, and whilst it is time consuming, I have that in abundance.
:PS Bit of a Rant!
