tuning a Ti is the same as any of the other 16v cars....
Squadra chip, BMC CDA, Freeflowing exhaust, de-cat pipe then
Ported & polished head, C&B High power road cams, new squarda chip then
lightened and balanced bottom end inc clutch.
if you sort the handling 1st, replace bottom arms, drop links, tre's, strut top mounts and bearings, rear trailing arms bearings followed by springs and shocks THEN
sort the brakes, D&G disks & decent pads, pay particular attention to the rear brakes to make sure they work properly, then you can go about making it quicker, having a car that handles and stops well will out perform a car which doesn't with twice the power,
that's how Mini's won the monte carlo rally you know, extreme example but you get the idea
