Hello Andy,

just picked up a 145 1.6 boxer today (standard car) which unfortunately is going to get parted out. Let me know if you needs any bits.

Boxer 1.7 1994, can I make a goer of it.

My wife bought the Red M reg car in 1997 at about 30,000 miles and I took it to France in about 2003, where it sat most of the time in a garage, up to a few months ago and 89,000 when I brought it home. Since then the wiper motor went, (I have a spare one to fit ) and now the starter needs a knock before it works, the headlining is coming loose and so on. The engine uses no oil and I had the cambelt done by an Alfa dealer in France a thousand miles or less ago last year. I noticed a split driveshaft gaiter too and no doubt there are other requirements for the English MOT ( the French one and insurance expire in June/July ).
It sems a shame to give up on it but age and lack of know how are against me. anyone interested ? I'm not sure about the body underneath but it jacked up okay. I will report as I find out what's going on.
