It started when I noticed a cracked headlamp glass. After a look at this I found out that the internal reflectors in the lamp were very loose, moving side to side. I ordered another lamp from an internet scrap alfa breaker and when I went to fit it I discovered that this lamp had the same problem.
I was happy to have a replacement glass for mine and a lamp to take apart. I found that the lamp adjusters have long nylon-plastic parts which attach to the reflectors with small ball connectors. I also found that these ball connectors had broken, they seem stupidly weak for a car that has hard suspension.
Does anyone know more about this problem?
