146 Alarm issue

Hi everyone, I just have a quick question if anyone has come across it before. The remote locking isn't working on my 2000 model 146 - the button on the circuit board had fallen off and was loose inside the key, needless it say it isn't possible to resolder it to the board. The problem I have now is, after reconnecting the battery it seems to have re-set the alarm and now as the remote locking isn't working I can't deactivate the alarm everytime I start it. The transponder deactivates to start the car but the alarm module can't receive a signal from the key, does anyone have any suggestions how I can deactivate it? also does anyone know of a key repairer that could solder a new button onto the circuit board please?

Oh and if anyone was wondering, I'm keeping the car now, was considering selling it but I can't bring myself to do it.
