Im driving alfa 145 jtd 105 and read few months to learn how to power tune the engine.
There is i made it finaly =] First of all i want say you i have no garage and i did all at the street front of my house... no much tools, no channel, no skills... no laugh im 24 years old, just much reading forums and dreaming
other bad is that, i do every think ALONE and my hands was all ways dirty, so i have not much photos of my work, And sorry for my bad english,
Part 1 - i buy turbo GT2256V from alfa 156 2.4 140HP
yep geometry vs stock wastegate :/ i wanna tell all who think is easy to control mechanical variable geometry , its hard and not so good ;[ There is my solution. I pick up valve who control wastegate of my stock turbo 1544 and put it on 2256 to open geometry when boost move it. Will see it on photos.Other think is that stock exhaust collector angle is verry big and new turbo have conflict with engine block, i buy collector from 147 JTD 115 and you have to get small oil filter around 5cm becos turbo downpipe going verry close to oil filter, and there we go New turbo is fit.
Part2 - Stock injectors of jtd105 is same like 2.4 136hp and is small capacity, i got around 1.8 bar hold pressure and no any smoke becos injectors too small, i found injectors from JTD115hp wich is biggest one for jtd 8/10v tuning, INJECTORS NUMBERS ARE 0 445 110 119 and its plug and play, just replace it.
Part 3 - There we go BIG PUMP
After change injectors there was much fuel but fuel pump was too small and cant handle rail pressure that ecu ask. I got cut and engine off when full throttle gas pedal, and yep reading forums help me to find solution, engine off because not enough pressure in rail, I get 5C pump from 156 2.4 136hp and no more cut or engine off car runs great.
Part 4 - ECU Software, yes this is hard part, After few bricks on my ecu i finaly tuned it fine and everythink worked, i got help from bulgarian forum guys wich help me alot with ecu mapping.
Others little thinks - I put rail pressure sensor from honda civc 2.2 wich can meassure up to 1800mbar, Map sensor up to 3 bar, also oil cooler with fan and other..
