ECU change-over,

After my car sitting far to high on the revs and mot failier on immissions,changed plugs found the right lambda probe on the bay.....still not 100 percent ok am about to try a working 8v ecu from a friends 155,
is there a instalerlation method...... ie do i need to know any commisioning method for this it a plug and play deal..?

just read thread below..I cleaned out MAF,MAF what and were,also can somebody send me the link to the pdf manual that i can no longer find on this site ,so so usefull...Thanxz

I think the immobiliser for the 8 valve cars was intergrated in the alarm. I don't think that it will be a problem, but I've not had much experience of the 8 valve cars.

Don't try it if it has a code light in the instrument panel though
