Got everything sorted last week.
Gave it a good run.
The boxer sings smooth and sweet.
Had to replace:
8 x valves
8 x valve seats
belt and bearings
Saw that the old belt's brand is Contitech, made in Germany.
The snapped belt had signs of wear, but the other one didn't
Few conclusions for the premature belt snap:
1. The last belt change mileage was not right (Evidently the belt had 32k km mileage)
2. Wasn't tension properly, too tight when fitted
So lesson leant:
1. I think I'm changing my interval to 30k km, even with ori parts
2. Check tension and condition at 20k km
Umm..I think still need to replace the tensioners on my next service, another 10k km.
