Re: Tracking out

I assume it's the lower wishbone bushes that are split? If so, you need new wishbones, as the bushes are not supplied separately. (Not strictly true - you could fit Powerflex bushes, but I believe it works out more expensive than replacing the complete wishbone).

Re: Tracking out

Yeah more than likely the wisbones, they dont last long on my ti either.
Typical symptoms on mine were knocking noises over bumps, sudden change in direction of car when braking, and lots of torque steer especially in the wet or accelerating over white lines etc.

In fact I've just come in the door from fitting a new drivers side wishbone as i write this. Going to do the other one tomorrow.
Thanks to all the help on this forum I had no problems at all, except for it taking 2 hours for just one side

If it is the wishbones then I'd recommend getting the droplink bushes changed too (only a quid each, 2 on each side) , mine were completely perished into little sponge-like rocks!!
