What's she worth - '99T 145 CLF

I'm about to sell my bella , and am struggling to put a sensible price on her - most stuff I've seen is either cheap rubbish or pimped up and overpriced.
Spec is as follows:
1999 on a T, post facelift model. Rosso red, 54k miles, 12 months Tax & MOT, full dealer/specialist history, everything works, fully standard unmolested car in original spec, standard cloth interior. New exhaust, MAF, idle actuator, air con just regassed, no dents or rust. Immaculate interior, exterior some paint fade (standard issue with Rosso red) and usual stone chips on front spoiler.
What do you reckon, how much should I advertise her for?
Anyone interested?

Sounds like a nice one, shame about the paint though. There was a good black one, a W reg IIRC, that went for about £2200. I would ask similar if I were you.

Has it had the belts done?

I wish you the best with your sale...

However, late model (2000 / 2001) facelift cars are now struggling to get 2k on private sales, a bit more if it has leather.

I'd say somethng like 1500 to 1800.

Re: What's she worth - '99T 145 CLF

I'm looking for a 2.0 cloverleaf at the moment, but due to having a red car for the past 10 years, I am after a bit of a change.

Personally, if it has the teledial wheels (like the 17" on the GTV) then I would pay 2000, no sweat.

The car on autotrader mentioned above was listed for 2200, but that had leather, so 2000 seems fair.

Mind you, there is no hard and fast rules on pricing, and if it is a total minter with almost no scratches, good tyres, tax and M.O.T. then it shouldn't be too difficult to get more, say 2400-2500.

One other thing. I am quite picky when looking at the Alfa's I have seen, and one thing I check to see if they have been neglected or not is too look at the colour of the oil (dipstick). I know a well looked after car would be easily "faked" by a 10 oil & filter garage job, but over half of the cars I have seen have crude oil in the engine, rather than the golden syrup I like to see. I can only come to the conclusion if the person can't be ars*d to change the oil when selling the car, they probably haven't been looking after it.
