Accident Damage

Recently (well not so recently, actually), a fellow motorist decided to come out of a side turning without stopping, and trashed my nearside rear door (146 1.8 TS by the way) and wing behind the door. Incidentally, this happened in Cambridge, but the driver was Italian, in an Italian registered Opel Meriva (how unItalian can you get), and his insurance company's in Genoa! Anyway, no probs with claim, he admitted liability and insurance co gave go-ahead for repairs. BUT!! bodyshop can't get hold of a rear wing for love or money. None in UK and Alfa says will have to wait until a viable number of orders received before they'll manufacture a batch. Anyone else had similar problems, and if so is there any way to hurry things up? Car is driveable, but looks a B****y mess.
