Central Locking Problem

Hope someone can help me. I recently replaced my clutch slave cylinder and now my drivers side door will no longer lock the car. Think it may be because i reconnected the battery with the drivers door open. You can still unlock the car from the drivers side and all the internal locks still work...

Should i try disconnecting the battery while the door is opened then close it and reconnect the battery? Can't see anything specific about it in the workshop manual and i don't want to make it any worse!

Was so smug about changing the clutch cylinder without any troubles as well....

Re: Central Locking Problem

I reckon it's just confused!

Try getting someone to lock it from the inside, so all doors are locked, and then open it with the key. If that doesn't work, try other combinations to try and un-confuse it , it's not likely to cause any damage.
