It may just need resetting. I had mine done a couple of weeks ago by a local Bosch specialist - it cost me less than £20. The diagnostics will tell you what the fault was.
It's worth looking at the connections under the seats - they seem to be the cause of 99% of all airbag fault warnings! You'll see a yellow wiring harness going into a black box on the underside of each seat. With the ignition off, open the box, disconnect the connectors & reconnect them ensuring that they are pushed firmly together.
