keys locked in car

Not my fault but does anyone know of a non destructive way to get into a locked 146.
I can see the keys in the ignition which is the most frustrating thing in the world.

If you've not already resolved this, I would call out the AA or a locksmith. They should have the car open in minutes without damaging it.

Out if interest, how did you manage to lock the keys in the car?

All sorted thanks.
Sold the car, v5 filled in money and keys changed hands.
New owner put keys in ignition got out and shut the door.
Been stood for 3 months so battery was flat and the doors locked themselves for the first time ever.
He borrowed some break in tools from a garage.

Let him mess about for half an hour then took over and opened it in 30 seconds.

Alfa GT

Yes done the same today.
While putting car cover into boot I must have dropped my only key in there too, then closed the boot...
(I live in South Spain so no AA) Phoned a local lock smith (english guy called Ray no. 679 831 166) Came within an hour.
He pushed a small slim airbag into pasenger side window (into the Side, not top of glass) Pumped air in by hand to create a small gap, Then Slid in his special hoocked wire. Grabbing the handle & opening the door.
I was then able to open boot using the inside button to retrieve the keys.

All with no damage done.

The locksmith also cut me a new key, once I had retrieved my set for him to copy for 20.
This key will only open the doors as its not coded to start the engine (but its a basic spare & lots cheaper than buying a full coded key from alfa)

Total cost of locksmith was 100

Note. No.1 I own a GT & the dead lock was not engaged.
No.2 You can get a copy of your metal key part copied anywhere. (only opens doors)
No.3 Trying this yourself. Be very carefull, do passenger door window.
No.4 Prize open the Glass from the side, not from top or corner of door.
No.5 Use a stiff wire (coat hanger maybe) but wrap the end that you stick into car with tape to stop from scratching glass or upholstry on door.
No.6 Use a profesional if unsure.... or ask Back2Alfa
