Yes.. lambda only really affects the idle when it's not working properly. The rest of the time the problem doesn't cause running issues since the car is running rich and that's only a problem at the higher end of the rev counter.
It seems to me you don't have an ignition problem. If your coils, plugs and leads were an issue, then the beast would more likely mis-fire and hesitate rather than feel "flat". The MAF is new and your throttle body is fine.. so you need to look at other things.
Does the car warm up okay and run okay the rest of the time (i.e at more normal rpm)?
If it was me... I'd take the fuel pump out and check that the hose that lifts petrol to the outlet hoses doesn't have any splits or kinks in it. If you need to replace it, you need to use "submersible" hose.. not just any old injector hose (it rots).
Change the fuel filter (under the floor, where the rear passenger sits).
Have a look at the fuel pressure regulator (if you can try a different one, then it may be worth a punt).
Also take those injectors out and give them an ultrasonic clean. If you can't, then stick 300ml of kerosene into your tank each time you fill up and use that to make sure the fuel system is tidy.
No bullets for Chaingun..
