Delighted to have won a perfectly original. Never boyd up 2 owners 146 2.0 ti. I used to have a 155 1.8 TS and miss the car very much.
I have the car home now, and really enjoyed driving it back, the sound was great and i was blown away by how it got down the road.
The clutch gearbox are all great and the engine didnt overheat or have any obvious problems,
I was being cautious though, as i have no service to say when the cam belt was changed, it could well be still on the original cam belt, so need to get this done soon as. How can i visually inspect the cam belt, can i just remove the rocker cover?
Looking over the car im tempted to change the wheels to 155 speedlines, exhaust etc etc, but as its so original i think im going to keep it as such.
The mot is up in july and tax runs out end of june, so i need to get it serviced, the car has oil in it, the levels are good and coolant is blue.
I would like to change belt myself, but worried ill screw it up, how bad a job is it, hear u need locks and such.
