145/6 rear swinging arms

Dunno if I'm covering old ground here but are the rear arm bearings on these cars a common failure? Both mine are away, n/s is by far the worst though. I've done many Tipo/Tempra ones in the past (same under bits (almost) of course). Is this an ill omen? I've found a supplier for a bearing kit, 25ish, has anyone tried these with any degree of success? Arms are about the 100 mark (NO! not AGAIN! ), unless someone knows different?

Re: 145/6 rear swinging arms

VERY common problem on 155's as it's basically the same floorpan. Shop4parts do them for about the same price....a few of us have done the job and it works well.
