The 1.5 33 is a lovely little car, and maybe you should keep her in a shed! It could be a classic Alfa in a few years!
The 146 is also a nice model, and would be well recommended.
I am told that the build quality of the 146 is better than the 33, and I know that the 146 handles very well. You would need to look for a low milage one, with a previous lady owner preferably and a full service history. That shouldn't be very difficult.
There is one thing to look out for though... they need the timing belt replaced with a bunch of other items around the 45k mark, but well before 60k... If this is not done, don't pay full price, but try knock ~600 off it.
It is VITAL that this is done!
After that, there are a few niggles with them, but that's what we are here to assist with!
