I had the head skimmed to that extent to raise the compression ratio to use a thicker gasket would be to miss the point.
It's a cf2 so if I were to check valve clearances with 2.0 cams I'd need a new gasket. Ie not in line with the "cheapness" plus if it does go pop, I've got 3 or so spare tspark heads lurking in storage.
My primary concern is that by raising the compression ratio I could cause it to pink. This can be mitigated through the use of higher octane fuel but again it's not in the spirit of cheap motoring...
