Stalling - which sensor is it?
My 146 1.6 ts has started to act up. Occasionally, from stationary, pressing the accelerator has no effect - the car kind of bumbles forward - less than 5mph. If I ease off on the accelerator, and wait a bit before pressing it down again, the car then jets off - as if it were being catapulted forward. It seems to me that this happens only on colder days e.g. it's fine now, but even last week, it was much colder and was constantly occurring. Sometimes when driving the car, the throttle seems unresponsive.
The injector light has flashed on - a couple of times, but not when this happens. ECU diagnostic shows only one fault - voltage regulation?
Exhaust emissions have been tested and are ok, but there do seem to be occasional random increases in CO.
Fuel consumption doesn't seem so bad - 220 miles for a tank of about 35L.
Is this a sensor problem - lambda, thermostat, coolant temp sensor?
