147 rear seats in a 145 ???

Hi Guys,

First posting on AO and could do with some advice.....

Will 147 rear seats fit in a 145 without modification?

I'm sure I can make fronts fit but the rears I have no idea about.

No they wont. I am basing this answer on my attempt to fit GT rear seats into the 145/147.

GT rear seats are the same depth (front to back) as 147 seats but they wont fit in the 147 due to differences in the location of the mounting brackets.

In the 145 they fit slightly better but the seats are too deep so the brackets are 2 inches infront of the mounting holes. Also the 145 has a reinforcing beam under the seat lip which the 147 does not have.

I haven't made any attempts to fit the seat backs though,

Hope this helps,
