Could I also ask this, would that be 5000 miles on the motorway or 5000 miles round town? TBH, you cant guage brakes by miles, it's a crazy statement, just pop the wheels off and see how thick the pads are, Any less than 2mm then I'd consider doing them soon.

Makes me laugh when tyre fitters take the wheels off, and the disc drops on their foot!
