T145 handling problems

My T145, new for me, is just great!
On our back country New Zealand paved roads, far from the eyes of the law, it is outstanding.
Traffic caught up rapidly disappears out the rear vision mirror.

That is, when the tarmac is smooth.
Hit a bump, and WATCH OUT!
Scary stuff, a single bump sends the front out towards the bank, a series of ripples and the back door tries to get into the shrubbery.
Having owned and raced a 356 Porsche for many years, I know what oversteer is, but this is something way scarier!
Perhaps four big Swiss guards and a 'was' Cardinal would hold it down, but then the little boxer engine might not be able to keep up with Dan Brown's Angels and Demons fantasy.

So, whats wrong? stuffed Shock absorbers, tired suspension bushes, wrong tyres, what?
Any help will be gratefully received.
My feeling is the shocks, so if anyone has a nice set of competition Bilsteins or similar, I would be keen to purchase.

Thanks, folks, for your help so far.

I'd be looking at front wishbones to start with, when they are worn the can alter both camber and toe...

and possibly the rear arms have worn bearings allowing a 'rear steer' effect.

Did you get the problem fixed? Would be great to hear how you're getting along!

Thanks, guys
For now, keeping within the law, the car seems OK but boring at that.
Will have an agent have a look at the front and replace whats needed, and then, I will report what happens, and whether we get the problem fixed.

Sounds like a damper problem to me.

Knacked and no longer damping.
