I think it is not as bad as you assume, I am talking of the external belt, not the cam belt.
This one drives the aircon compressor, the power steering pump and the water pump.
It is the idler sitting just above the crank shaft pulley at about "11 hours".
What I found out is the "bracket" or "support" as people call it is a big piece of cast aluminum going by the reference number 60608897 (AR dealer's info)
So if possible, welding should be a solution and then machining the level of the support to align it with the other pulleys.
Luckily, no bent valves, I replaced the cam belts and tensioners about 20'000 k's ago.
