Honestly guys, I think the small green filter is only a filter and nothing more. If it's possible to make an oil regenerating gadget that size, I'm sure most manufacturers would have chosen that option, instead of the butterfly valve clogging option of fitting a breather hose.
For the record; most crankcase ventilation systems have two hoses: one with a large diameter going somewhere after the filter and AFM (if fitted) and a small diameter one going to the plenum after the butterfly valve. Meaning; suction at idle or part load causes the oil vapours to enter the combustion chamber without getting in contact with the throttle valve, and running full throttle; the vapours can escape through the large diameter hose, thus not getting obstructed and/or caught on the throttle valve because it's more or less fully open.
