I few people have de-badged, there's no harm in leaving them off. I'd bet the black of your car looks pretty good unbroken by the badge too. Wouldn't have thought it'd be necessary to re-attach them if you sell it, but you could always keep them incase the next owner wanted them back on.
Is the rotten silencer the weird triangular one? Because of it's bizarre shape, as far as I know, no aftermarket exhaust people make that one. An Alfa dealer could supply the part (although it's not just that silencer seperately, from the Cat backwards the exhaust comes in two sections but I can't remember where the join is, so not sure what comes along with that silencer.
The other option is to take it to a stainless steel exhaust fitter, one who will make up bespoke exhausts. It's worth pricing up at least coz they could possibly do you a full SS cat-back system for not much more than Alfa would charge you for replacing one section (and if one is rotten, what's the chances the other isn't far behind?)
