Does anyone know where the Air Temp Sensor(IAD) is located on a 145 Cloverleaf. I just bought a replacement resistor thingy that suppose to replace the original for more power. I think its between the air cleaner & the throttle body, connected to a large black tube but i am not sure! There is also 2 connectors on this tube, 1 with 4 metal pin connector nearer the throttle body and a 2 pin metal connector located nearer the air cleaner box. !!!
Anyone with the faintest idea of where it is would be well appreciated.!
Well!the Lambda sensor is not in circuit at cold engine, idle or at 3/4 to full throttle.
The mixture will be enriched at these times if the electrical resistance of the ATS circuit is increased.
However, I agree with THEOTHERSIMON you wasted your fiver. The effect of fitting would be a slight increase in fuel consumption and NOTHING on performance.
