Hmmm 164 Cloverleaf

Have seen a couple of adverts for Cloverleaf's at cheap prices, (less tahn mine'd cost to repair ).
Wanted to check on the defining features, cos I think at least 1 is a fake.

As I understand, all cloverleafs were 6 speed 4wd, with the earlier contrasting (& meaner looking ) bumpers & side panels.

can any one confirm this?
also anything special to look out for inside?

cheers midears

Re: 164 Cloverleaf

Cloverleaf can be had in 12v and 24v, all 5 speed with FWD,

24v had 230bhp, also has active suspension
non cloverleaf 24v have 210 bhp, think due to lower compression ratio.

I heard that the one to have is the 12v cloverleaf (190bhp i think) as its got a lot more sensors and boxs of tricks to help the driving experience BUT i was never sure on this info,

Stunning car, miss me dads one!

Re: 164 Cloverleaf

Been trying to think of a witty reply to cover my ignorance.
And failed.
But thanks anyway.

Been trying to decide what to do with my dented Alfa- repairs are going to cost nearly a grand, but am wondering if I ought to put the money to something else. My current 164 V6 is pretty good, but is 10 yrs old w 108K on the clock
Options are :
another 164, (possibly cloverleaf now)
a 156 (2.5V6)
a 166 (2.5 or 3.0 V6)
or something else

What to do?

if I knew how to set up a poll, I do that & throw myself upon your mercies ( but the car's booked in for Monday so I'd need to decide soon!).

My days of not taking you seriously are definitely coming to a middle

Re: 164 Cloverleaf

You want a 155 V6, innit?

Mind you, those '66 are pretty cheap now...
