any miss fires or other problems like this loss of power ect.
hello guys this is a worth while stuff to get and use its only about £5 and works wonders even if u dont think u have a problem it sorts minor problems out.
its a silicone gel. i found it when having serious problems with my old 146 2l ti on a 1997 r. i had changed the lambda sensor as it was running a bit high on emissions then i changed the maf then got new plugs all 8 of em, was really screwing with me as at the start i would just get a great start not really that much off the revs on tick over then when driving i would be doing about 40-50 then all of a sudden it would drop the revs and no matter how hard i pushed the pedal it would not rise down to about 1500-1800rpm then all of a suddden same as how it would go it came back. after about 6 months it got really bad and would start to spit and back fire also and was really bad in the wet. i then changed a coil pack as the garage told me to they said being as they are expensive buy one and work down the 4 trying it in each slot. it worked a bit better as one was very very loose and when i came to that one the new coil pack was new and fresh so held the spark plug tighter. one of my relatives told me to look on the net as he had heard a ford fault like this. so i went on and found ford do a silicone conducting gel for this problem so i got that and took the new coil pack off and put silicone gel in all of the older ones and the 4 normal leads for smaller spark plugs and problem solved so i too new coil pack back and said it was faluty.. guys dont waste your money on all the new parts as some times its just a dodgy connection and for about £5 its well worth a try. it also worked on my wifes car made it run so smooth even vw engines have the same problem
