How things can change in a week. Our Polo decided to throw a wobbler on route to look at a 147's. Just a few miles from the 3rd car of the day the gearbox decided it was not happy being an important aspect of the polo, and started to fail.
We were unable to agree a price on a 147, which did need some work. We wanted to dring the car back that day as it had tax and MOT. Nevermind.
So Sunday we managed to sell the Polo at a very reduced price, and my other half is very dispondent about it all as we had this car quite a while. The polo was a nice car, just had a habbit of eating gearboxes!
So, the 145 remains, and is not not for sale. We're busy over the next 2-3 weekends so we're stuck with a poverty spec Pug 106 XND. We'll be looking for a 147 in early March for Mrs Le Rosso.
Come May-June we're planning on having a garage built. Once this has been built and we have had an idea on the cost will be the driver for the 145 replacement.
So for now I'm still a 145'er. And I am greatful to the way a certain AO'er has been so understanding. Respect bud.
