Inner or outer? Outer is a bit easier, but both require splitting the drive shaft from the outer CV joint as the inner joint doesn't part from the drive shaft without a major scrap. You need to undo the allen key bolts at the engine side, which will split the engine side joint from the motor . Then undo the tie-rod and suspension strut bolts. This will allow the hub and drive shaft to swivel 90 degrees and give you access to the outer joint. Pull back the outer gaitor and wade through the gallons of CV grease to find a circlip that retains the drive shaft in the joint. You need to expand the circlip with circlip pliers and then you can pull the drive shaft out. You can then slide either or both of the gaitors off. It's a horrid dirty job but not that difficult.
