If i just ask it to refresh one bank from the RAM, ie 16 addresses you can get about 2 samples per second. If you were to just refresh a couple of addresses they would obviously be much faster.
This is with communication at 10400 baud. The ECU reports it can handle higher speed communication so that should increase the amount of samples.
Thx for the page, I already have it bookmarked - the problem here is I am accessing the RAM addresses direct and reporting the values back raw. The data stored in the RAM are inputs & outputs to/from the ECU to sensors/other devices. The calculations listed are for the results of the PID sub functions, yet to investigate those!
