I am pleased to report that the 146 at the top of this page is no more.
It was bought a couple of years ago by redline magazine as a project car but when they ripped into it to start it as a project they found it rotten in the floors so scrapped it selling off a few bits on the way.
Hopefully most of the readership remember how it rotted and will now steer clear of Alfa's and stick all the chav **** on some other poor unsuspecting vehicle.
It was not very tastefull but it had had some serious money spent on it over time, running IIRC throttle bodies amongst other things and mondeo morettes.
You'd think something like that would make a good project for a magazine when it needs welding up, showing people how to keep an older car on the road.
