If the Tutela is cheaper then I would just go with that as it's what your Alfa dealer would put in.
The gearbox oil drain plug on the gearbox is on the right-hand side at the front of the box (looking under the car from the front) so to get as much oil out as possible I suggest jacking it up as high as safely possible on the driver's side and lowering the passenger side (i.e. with the wheel off). If you can get it pointing slightly downhill then even better. Alternatively, use a syringe with a tube attached and suck out the last dregs of oil. However, it's not absolutely necessary to drain out every last drop of the old oil so I wouldn't worry too much.
