Do you happen to know if your USB interface cable is using the FTDI chipset? (if it is, the drivers you installed will be FTDI ones).
no idea what an FTDI is
but, i have succeeded in getting it working
was the settings thing, followed it to the letter (almost
) and tried again and it works
i've reset the airbag light, it had 3 fault codes.
low battery voltage, hardly surprising due to having had no battery & differetn ones in various states of charge the last few months
passenger seat...something or other. i had that tipped upside down pretty much when doing the floor welding, guess that could have triggered something
and something to do with the steering wheel, can't remember if i've unplugged it or not.
so will see if that light stays off.
the abs one though, that's a abit different.
got the light switched off easy enough (easy when you know how
) but i'm sure it will come on again when i drive it, it had 2 fault codes.
passenger front wheel speed sensor error, drivers front speed sensor error.
i've used the speed sensors from the coupe as they were on the coupe hubs and were different to the 145 ones. there was 2 wires to each sensor so i soldered the 145 plugs onto the coupe sensor wires, guess that's not going to work
unless i've got them the wrong way around?
anyone have any experience with abs sensors? or a solution to the problem
thanks for all the patience you guys, i need it. by now i'm sure you've guessed that computers aand me are complete strangers talking in totally different languages
