Just thought I would say that I was sufin looking for insurance for my 145 Cloverleaf yesterday, most of the quotes were from £700 - £1200 ! I am 33, garaged buit with no No claims as the Cloverleaf is a second car for just pleasure. But I got a great quote from Admiral £370 !! not bad, so I took it. Also like to point out that this forum site is superb, and thanks to paul with the help on the key issue.
Glad to see you got sorted...there is a website called
confused.com and it takes basic details and searches 30+ insurance companies for good quotes.....pretty good. I'm 25 5 years no claims, car not garaged, cheapest price was £340 top price was off the limit and Direct Line wouldn even give me a quote - and to think i used to work for them!
34.....had a bit of a incident with a ditch pulling handbreakers 4 yrs ago...cost me all my no claims,,,!!!!!!s...anyway,have full no claims again 1.8 145 cloverleaf €900 and I am still !!!!ed at having to pay that...insurance is a legal form of blackmail/extortion in Ireland
