Project '99 Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf facelift.
I believe it has 81k on the clock (I cant actually remember). Paint work is good, the odd 5p dent down the side which are hardly noticeable, 4 cracking tyres on which look to not have been far off from new. The pads and discs have alot of meat on them. Its had two new wishbones recently. It also has a K&N Cone filter which the previous owner fitted. He cared for the car and was a family man, he has always been in to his alfa's, i purchased it from him for a project for myself but due to time issues (too many projects on the go) This one needs to be shifted.
A good run down of what is currently required:
These are the easy parts which i would do if somebody wanted the car and they didn't want to do them:
Rear wiper motor to be repaired.
Parts to be painted which are half done.
Black grill to be glued back on.
New badge to be fitted.
Side skirts to be securely attached.
Exhaust Tip to be cleaned up and polished.
Broken rear reflector which is to be replaced.
The big jobs:
Crank to be replaced. Already have a replacement part.
New big end shells to be fitted. Already have.
Already have replacement oil.
Already have replacement filter.
Already have the sump sealant for refitting.
Gearbox to be removed and refitted correctly mated to the engine which you would do anyway with changing the crank.
Also with changing the crank you would have to re-fit the cam belt which it would be best to fit a new one, just a cam belt mind. The previous owner had new belts and tensioners fitted 2k ago.
The floor will require welding for the MOT. I can do this if you bring the car back to me OR i may be able to do it before the new owner tows it away. I will charge a fee for this however but no where near as much as a garage! (Iv done quite a few now).
It can be towed away, just need to bolt the exhaust and sump back on.
£350 as it currently stands.
£450 with all the little jobs done.
With all the parts already being there except the cam belt, this can work out to be a real minter 145 for under a grand!
