Hello, sorry to ask so many lame questions in such a short space of time but I'm hoping to get all this sorted pretty soon.
Ok, I bought a 1999 146 1.8TS in October 2003. It had 76000 miles on the clock and I quite liked it so I bought it.
Since then servicing wise, I haven't done all that much to it (or had it done). Looking at the service history it had its services done when required at 12,340, 24,395, and 37,126 (for the 12000, 24000, & 36000 services). Then whatever ***** owned it during 2001 didn't have it serviced at 48000.
When I bought it, it has its 60000 mile service stamped at 72000 miles and its 72000 service stamped at 76000. And according to the book had its timing belt changed when it has done 72000 miles (10000 miles ago).
Its now done 82000 miles (6000 more than when I bought it in October). Does anyone have any opinions to offer on whether I should take it to have its 84000 mile service in the near future (six months after its last service) or wait until if has done slightly more miles (since its last service was at 76000). If I decide to leave it a bit longer until I get it serviced proffesionaly then I will change the oil (and filter) this weekend (as it has done 6000 since last service). If not I'll leave the oil change until it has it's service.
Any advice appeciated (if anyone can make heads or tails of what I've just said).
