Wing Mirrors

After a bit of advice...

One of the many things that broke on me this winter was both of the wing mirrors, as in they no longer lock in place after being folded. What do I have to do to rectify this?

Thanks, Charlie.

I'm not completely sure what the pivot looks like but I imagine it's an alloy ball inside a plastic socket. If the socket is damaged there's not much to do to fix it. The mirror isn't easily dismantled and you can't get the loose parts.

If you have manual, unpainted (black plastic) mirrors you can buy brand new Vitaloni (the OE manufacturer) jobbies for 30 a side on the 'Bay.
