Just finshed changing my sump on my 2.4JTD, not a bad job to do if you have the correct size ribe bits, M6x250mm min in lenght to access the the two M6 ribe screws at the cluth end of the sump, these are very difficult to see but you cando it with torch in one hand ratchet in the other, fiddley but not to difficult to access.
M8 ribe bit I used two lenghts 150mm long for most of the screws and one about 35mm long to access the one screw above the CV joint/drivefast.
You have to remove the oil pick up pipe so you can remove the sump.
Refit is reversal but use the correct sealant from Alfa to sealn the sump to the block.
If anyone wants to borrow the tools I made give me a shout.
Now I love my Alfa again running sweet and no leaks.
