Well I think it's about time someone put the registration on here so that anyone trying to search for any history on this car in Google will find this thread...so here goes - it's a Red Alfa Romeo 145 Green Cloverleaf, year 1999, registration number V894 JDS so anyone who finds this thread, BE AWARE and read this whole thread from the start.
It's one thing not putting down what's actually wrong with the car but it's another thing completely by hiding / not disclosing information when it's specifically asked for, especially the brakes which are a potential death trap if they haven't been sorted since this car was originally sold. Looks like this seller is deliberately trying to deceive any potential buyer of the car which is highly illegal and it MUST have a dodgy MOT with brakes in that state. I'm sure the relevant authorities would be very interested to hear about it...
This is clearly a very dodgy second hand car dealer and one to steer well clear of. If he doesn't get stuck with this car for a very long time then I hope he loses a serious amount of money on it which is all he deserves. If I ever ended up buying something like that and found that the seller had purposely deceived me then I wouldn't hesitate in dragging the seller through the courts.
I won't be posting on this forum any more. If you want to know why and/or you want answers to some 145/146 related questions then please feel free to pop over to and post on the alfa145.com
forum where you will find me with the same member name.
I have now disabled all my private messaging options on here but you can PM me over on the alfa145.com
