Ah! Attenzione Nordico.
The Halfords ones (own brand and those made by Bosch) have a metal tang on them that fits into the slot on the back of the bulb holder ("bulb holder" is actually a hole in the circuit board, with some solder to make the connection).
The tangs are ever so slightly too long to fit in the slots provided by Alfa... so you may have to file the holes slightly bigger to get the bulb tangs to pass through.
The OE bulb is subtly different when you compare them.. It has a stubbier body and shorter metal tangs on it and ... (surprise) fits more snugly and without any mods.
The Halfords jobbies are £2.50 and the OE is about £3... so I would recommend getting the original equipment ones.
Also.. order 5 and change the whole lot. My '45 had 4 of its 5 bulbs out .. and I guess once one goes, the others have done the same sort of hours and are not far behind it.
BTW the clock is a different bulb (1.1? W) and isn't available off the Big H's shelf...
No bullets for Chaingun..
