Right, well Iíve decided that I would really like a 145 as a runaround and have set my heart on a phase 2 Cloverleaf (I love the colour coded bumpers, interior, dials, aircon etc.
) Thatís the easy part!
Now for the hard part!Ö.namely finding a decent one without intergalactic mileage that isnít on the other side of the country from me.
There seems to be a few coming up here and there but I guess Iíve just got to play the waiting game until the right one comes up nearer to me.
Now a question for all you 145 experts. How different is the 1.8 from the cloverleaf? As far as I can tell it has most of the same body kit apart from the boot spoiler, also has the quick steering rack, rides a bit higher and has different seats. Are there any other differences? For me the difference in insurance quotes seems to be negligible too.
Iím tempted by these but would I be better to hold out for a cloverleaf?
Also I'm just wondering how far would you travel to pick up the right one? Everyone thinks I'm mad for considering cars which are hundreds of miles away
Loving Alfa's is weird isn't it? If I wanted a golf I could probably find one in the next street!
