I have also just disconnected the MAF. The engine is hunting n reving itself which you wuld expect but the power is back. When I connected it back it, it ran a lil better again. Bit more power but the revs are stickin around 2000 when idle. They sometimes drop but slowly. Even when I rev the engine the revs drop very slowly to just under 1000 like normal. I also noticed that the lil mental clip on the end of lead 1 inside the housing that connects to the top of the MAF seems to pushed a lot further back than on the other 3 leads. Could that be it? Or perhaps that sensor thing Ive seen mentioned? Or do I just need a completely new MAF?
