ebay coil packs...

hi just placed an ad in the wanted forum for a couple of coil packs and ive been talking to a guy on ebay because he has some for sale..the only problem is the numbers on mine dont excactly match to the ones hes selling, although they do look indentical to mine his are off a 2003 156 2.0lt t/s and i need ones for a 146ti (2000 w plate).would there be a problem if i bought them and fitted them?

I think there is a difference to the way the secondary plug is fired in the CF3 engine in the 156, can anyone confirm this?
Don't know if they are interchangeable though.

The way the secondary plug fires is purely down to the way the HT leads are run from the coil pack. I would have thought that all coil packs off the plastic topped engines should be interchangeable, although I always try to supply matching numbers just in case. (Just be aware that the coil packs off the alloy top engines use a different "low tension" connector so wont be any use on a plastic-top engine, without rewiring.....
