Air conditioning pipe split

Hello all!

This morning smoke pouring from under the bonnet made me stop pretty sharpish. Turns out the rubber air con pipe in front of the exhaust manifold that goes from the aircon refill valves to the compressor (I think) had split and was spraying gas/green dye over the hot exhaust manifold which was turning into steam. Drat! Any ideas on the cost of replacing this part? I assume it's ok to drive it still, as long as I don't hit the aircon switch!!

Guys, try have a look at Pirtek (google it)

They specialise in making fluid/hi psi hoses etc and can make you a replacement from the OEM part.
Much cheaper than the 60-70+ Alfa want.
