145 owner to be....

Hello everyone.

Just put down a deposit on a 99 145 clover leaf.

Timing belt is due soon (changed at 56k, now on 80k) and after reading all the horror stories I'd be much happier booting her without the fear of an imploding motor......so where is the best place to buy the parts and if any one knows a good online guide a link or two would be appreciated.

A serivce manual would be good to have too. Any available in print, and available to us members of the public?

Any nods towards places to get spares would be good too, independent breakers and that kind of thing....

I thank you all in advance and look forward to being an active member of this community.

As for geting the parts it's a pricewar between Alfa Romeo Parts and Alfa Romeo Spares from EB Spares - Specialist Alfa Parts Dealers and The Alfa Workshop, independent specialist Alfa Romeo garage and web resource and as cambelts are not really something for the home DIY mechanic on these and I'm only an hour from you and do the fitting of parts for a fraction of dealers and other garage prices.
