I'd say you either have a failed waterpump, 146 radiators rarely corrode but it's possible, faulty temp sensor/s, burnt out valves/seats, cracked head, blown head gasket (oil doesn't always mix).
Ofthose my moneys on the water pump, with the engine running feel the hose lines, they should be of equal temperature and that shows flow, if it's not flowing then the top will be hot and the bottom cold after 5 minutes, if that's the case then change the cambelt too as you have to dremove it to do the pump.
