Just been out ot shops in my 146 and had some major understeer, twice at same roundabout, once turning left and then on return journey turning right. On the left turn I was probably going a bit too quick on a damp road. For the right turn I went in at normal speed 2nd gear and gently round, hardly any throttle but it was wheelspinning and running wide didn't get any better when I lifted off or when I went from turning right to turning left. Just couldn't get any power down or stop it spinning & sliding, then when I did find some grip there was a worrying flapping noise sounded like a CV boot had come off and was flapping about.
The noise cleared after about 200yds, now I am worried about what has gone wrong my thoughts are mostly Diff.
I know it could have been something spilled on roundabout but I am convinced my steering is now heavier than normal. Has anybody had a similar experience or am I just being paraniod?
